The Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group is one of the most prominent in Japan, and includes the tomb of Emperor Nintoku, which is one of the largest in the world. It is made up of the Mozu tumulus cluster, located in Sakai City, and the Furuichi tumulus cluster, which straddles Habikino City and Fujiidera City. In 2019, it was the first site in Osaka to be designated a UNESCO world heritage.
