The Rafter’s Path in Shimazu

The Rafter’s Path is a path that developed through the Kumano-gawa River basin for the rafters to go to and fro between the area of Shingu and the village in the mountainside. When you go along this path, you will be able to observe two different kinds of strata and feel a 54-million-year gap on the way.
