Taki-no-hai

The stratum of the Kumano strata that forms the riverbed of Taki-no-hai had turned white and firm from hydrothermal alteration. The waterflow had made potholes of various size and shape, and also pools like a channel in the river. In July, you can see gobies (fish) trying to climb up the rock wall of the waterfall.
