This is a 50m high sea cliff made of thick sandstone stratum of the upper Tanabe strata. Underneath the cliff, there are rock caves eaten by the ocean waves. It is on the northern extension of the Karekinada arc-shaped dike, and there are several ruins of mines nearby.
