Urushi no Sato Kaikan

Visitors can learn a lot about traditional lacquer ware here, for example, the manufacturing process from wooden base making to decoration, and historical resources. They can also learn about recent modernizing efforts by the Echizen lacquer ware industry, including the production of special ware that is dishwasher proof for both personal and industrial use.
