Restrictions on Large Baggage

Bringing large baggage into the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai site is prohibited. In addition, spaces for baggage storage are limited in Yumeshima, where the Expo site is located. Please leave your baggage in coin lockers within Osaka city, accommodation facilities, or baggage storage facilities prepared by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition before coming to the Expo site.
Definition of Large Baggage Prohibited Within the Expo Site
Large baggage and baggage with casters are prohibited within the Expo site.
Regardless of size, baggage with casters cannot be brought into the Expo site.
Size of Baggage Prohibited Within the Expo Site
Baggage with any side exceeding the size dimensions (W 600 mm x D 900 mm x H 400 mm) cannot be handled by the X-ray scanning device at the entrance to the Expo site, and are therefore prohibited.
Baggage with Casters
To maintain order and for safety and security reasons, bringing suitcases, carry cases, or carts for carrying items into the Expo site is prohibited.
Official Baggage Storage Facilities Outside the Expo Site
At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, there will be storage facilities for large baggage at the main transfer stations of Bentencho and Sakurajima. In addition to storing your baggage, the baggage storage facilities also offer same-day delivery to nearby hotels and delivery to other areas in Japan.
Please consider using coin lockers in Osaka city or storing baggage at your accommodation.
